About Me
Cindy Wye (she/her)
My life’s work is to connect with others. I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves so that they can move towards greater joy and fulfillment.
I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), located in Toronto, Ontario.
I practiced as a midwife for 10 years and, prior to that, as an occupational therapist for 10 years (with special interest in mental health and pediatrics). I am a graduate of Queen’s University and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
I was raised by hardworking Korean immigrant parents. I continue to gain insight into how my family’s experiences have shaped my various identities, how I move through the world, and how I impact those around me. I strive to have my practice reflect an anti-racism, anti-oppression framework.
My psychotherapy training is through The Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP), a 3-year, intensive, experience-based program accredited by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am a member of CRPO and the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
I love delicious coffee, laughing, and singing in the car by myself. My heart explodes when I am with my 4 hilarious and interesting children.
